Principles for Non-Payment for Serious Reportable Events
The Colorado Hospital Association Board of Trustees adopted a resolution approving a set of principles intended to guide Colorado hospitals in designing payment policies related to serious reportable events. These principles are CHA Principles for Non-Payment for Serious Reportable Events. The goal set by the CHA Board is for every member hospital board of trusties to adopt a policy pertaining to non-payment for serious reportable events by the end of 2008.
