Regulatory Policy
CHA consistently monitors state and federal rulemaking and regulations to keep members apprised of any changes that may affect them. CHA staff monitors and advocates on behalf of members with state regulatory agencies regarding the implications of both new regulations and proposed modifications of current regulations.
Recent regulatory policy efforts have included issues around licensure regulations for hospitals, the supervision of certified registered nurse anesthetists, and the implementation of federal health reform policies.
