A key role of the Association’s finance team is to foster and maintain positive working relationships with government, payer and other organizations that affect hospital financial management. These include: the Colorado Department of Health Care Policy and Financing (HCPF); Medicare fiscal intermediaries; Colorado Division of Insurance; Colorado Health Facilities Authority; Colorado Resident Discount Program (CRDP); UB92 Committee; Colorado Department of Labor and Employment - Division of Workers' Compensation; Colorado Foundation for Medical Care (CFMC); University of Colorado graduate program in Health Financial Management; Healthcare Financial Management Association; Affiliated Guild of Patient Accounting Managers (AGPAM); and major public accounting firms that have healthcare specialties.
