Hospital Preparedness

Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program (HSEEP)

As part of the 2009-2010 Hospital Preparedness Program grant, the Colorado Hospital Association was contracted to develop and deliver a Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program (HSEEP) training workshop customized for hospitals. The HSEEP training was tailored specifically to hospitals and their needs regarding emergency preparedness exercise design, execution and after-action activities.

The goal of the training is to provide hospitals with the structure, examples and guidance necessary to design and execute effective exercises compliant with Joint Commission and HSEEP requirements.
