Colorado Hospitals
Critical Access Hospitals
Critical access hospitals (CAHs) play an essential role in keeping our rural communities healthy. In order to qualify as a CAH––and therefore receive cost-based Medicare reimbursement––facilities must meet a number of requirements related to geographic location, size and services. A list of Colorado’s critical access hospitals is below.
The Colorado CAH program is managed by the Colorado Rural Health Center. For more information on critical access qualifications, contact Gail Finley, CHA vice president of rural health and hospitals, at 720.330.6011.
